You ever had that terrible day at work and all you want to do when you get home is to relieve stress. That’s been my life lately. My job is cool, my team is awesome but man some days I want to pull my hair out. Here are some quick and easy ways to relieve stress and keep your hair.

Exercise to Relieve Stress
I know, I know. Your thinking, Duh Tiff. That’s the first advice anyone gives.
It’s the first piece of advice for a reason. A long peaceful walk in decent weather will eliminate most stresses.
If it’s the middle of winter or this weird quasi winter-fall thing we have going on on the East Coast. Try youtube for your workouts. I love Fitness Blender, HasFit and sometimes Yoga With Adrienne. Any of these are great for working up a sweat and relieving stress.
Read Something Fun
If you read something fun, it can help you relieve your stress. Aim for fiction on the really tough days.
Read a great non-fiction book. One book I’d recommend is The Cuckoo’s Calling. It was an amazing read. As I destress this year I’m going to cross off some more of my Goodreads choices.
Journal to Relieve Stress
Start the journal with the good things that happened in your day.
On stressful days the list might be small but thinking of the little positives shifts your mindset. Personally I love journals, they are everywhere in my house. It’s actually a teeny bit scary. I use this journal and my fun pen set is here.
You don’t even have to try to make sense in your journal entry. Putting the pen to paper will relieve stress.
Begin and end your days with meditation. I need to up my consistency. Being aware of your body and breath leads to a feeling of peace and content that pushes all the stress away.
